Article deposit and Self-archiving policies

We define the Author’s Accepted Manuscript (AAM) as the version of the manuscript accepted for publication, after peer review but before any copyediting or typesetting.

Authors can share the AAM of their article on their own personal, self-maintained website immediately on acceptance. They may also deposit the AAM into their own institutional or funder repositories or archives, or employer’s internal website. The AAM can be deposited to these repositories immediately on acceptance as long as they are not made publicly available.

When sharing the AAM, authors should include an acknowledgment in the following form with a link to the published version of the article on ETS’s website:

“This is a post-peer-review, pre-copyedit version of an article published in “Studi lockiani” [vol. n.; pp.-pp.]. The final authenticated version is available online at:[insert DOI]”.

Six months after publication, authors are allowed to share the published version of their submission on Institutional repositories or non open-access archives. It is highly recommended to include a reference link to the journal website.

Four years after publication, the article is released under a CC BY SA 4.0 license and kept on the journal website. All rights revert to the author.
Authors may purchase early open access and immediately release their published paper (200 EUR fee).
